Could my 4 month old baby have asthma?

I can't remember if he was born with a congested nose but as the days ped he had a congested nose and everytime he would breathe it sounded like he had flem, so I asked his doctor and she said that it's normal because his nasal pages are very small and that it would go away on its own. Everyone in my family thinks its not normal, he can breathe fine but it sounds like he has a lot of mucus in his nose, it was going away but now everytime he wakes up in the morning he wakes up congested and I have to suction his nose. Sick of being depressed and having a social phobia?

Nothing ever seems to change with me. I apologize in advance but I need to vent and I can't talk to anyone about this so I figured I would get some strangers opinions of what I should do. I have worked at the same job for ten years. I am having a affair with my boss for two years. We talk about marriage, kids, etc. but he drinks alot and I wonder if anything will ever come of it. I am shy and don't have many friends, and my anxiety is overtaking me because I'm scared it will not work out. If it doesn't will I lose my job? Something very wierd happened to me today?

About 1:30 this afternoon I was in my bathroom and heard water running. I thought it was the toilet, I jiggled the handle inside the tank, but that was okay. Checked the bathtub hot and cold and that was find the same with the bathroom sink and kitchen. All were fine. Went into my basement and the noise was louder than what I heard in the bathroom. I could hear water running inside the water lines within the basement. In the Fall I had turned off the valves that went to the water supply to the two spickets I have on the outside of my home. These valves are in the basement. One on each side of my basement since one spicket is in the front of the home and the other in the back. Well I had to leave for work so I couldn't spend any more time trying to figure out what the heck was going on. I can home 3 1/2 hours later and went out in my back yard and saw that the outside back spicket was running at full force, water was coming out big time. I had removed the hoses and turned the nozzles off when I turned the valves off in the Fall. Can not figure out how this hapened. These water valves and spickets have been turned off for three/four months and not a drop has come out and then today this happened. Can anyone explain to me what might have happened to cause this. When we went to turn the nozzle off where the water was coming out, it was completely turned in the on position but noone touched it. We have a ton of snow in the backyard and there were no footprints so noone could of turned it on. Please help.

I constantly see Buddhists and Krishna and related philosophically religious views being pushed into answers. I am a very creative person but have always had trouble finding a way to use this. My famly is filled with artists of all kinds,( my granpa was an art professor for the minnesota art institue, my uncles on both sides are all artists...). Alrighty here's the deal I'm a soldier on Ft. Lee 109th living in the barracks. The dfac is horrible. The food they cook is literally unedible. They mostly serve , two times a week the mainline will be nothing but chicken. I hate chicken but i'll eat it anyway since i'm hungry and woe and behold it's not even cooked all the way. It happens every fricken time. The only thing I will eat from there is the burgers which are good if you put enouph stuff on them. Since arriving here in fort lee i have gained 20 pounds, am constantly having stomach problems and getting constipated. I tried talking to my 1SG but he says because i live in the barracks i have to be on the meal plan. So in addition to paying 295.83 every month for food i don't eat i'm paying out of pocket for anything that i can cram into an itty bitty refrigerator and it's about to put me into debt. Anyway my question is this, isn't forcing me to spend my money on the dfac institutionalism which is unconstitutional?

I would take her to the doctor first thing hun. Babies can teeth early but sometimes other things can also be wrong. From dealing with colic myself this is what it sounds like to me. If you take her to the doctor they can maybe tell you whats going on with her. If she is teething and when she does I fully recommend getting her the orajel q tips and also the dissolveable teething tablets. Those 2 things together along with tylenol worked wonders for me. We are going to the same resort in Playa Del Carmen that we went to last year. We each got a little sick to our stomics by the end of the trip, nothing unmanageable. i pray to the lord and god but am not sure i am doing it right.. I always put my fingers on my forhead, stomach, then right shoulder, and left shoulder, but say nothing while doing that proccess, say my prairs and then do the cross again(head, stomach, etc) and say amen. Native American Rights in Canada Much Different in the US?

So riddle me this. Why is it that Native American's do not have the same rights as everyone else living in Canada? Years ago there was a war, started by British and they conquered the Natives. According to a Wikipedia entry just to support my point there has been no country that has not at one point been ruled over by another government, and yet have you ever heard of another country run by a different government being given special rights? I along with all others now were not there when this land was taken. I made no choices to take their land. Yet someone the same age as myself does not have to pay the taxes that I do, they are able to hunt and fish whatever and whenever they want. Their school, can you believe it their schooling is paid for, and buses provided to bring them to the same school. They are not forced to live on reserves they chose to stay there. The reserves are in terrible condition and yet the government gives the reserve millions of dollars that just seems to go to the natives who spend it on new vehicles and more smokes and beer. I have never met ONE native american who works doing a "real" job that helps this community. Not a single native I went to school with graduated from high school. You always hear about the cheifs fighting for more native rights, we deserve more health care, more land, etc... they have the ability to use the exact same health care as everyone else. I dont know if these same "privileges" are around for all Canadian natives but where I live they certainly are and I know in places like the US they are none existent which is what it should be like in Canada. We live in the year 2010 and in this time Canada is made up of many cultures who all have the same rights as the next person. I dont descend from the British people, I just come from one of the many other backgrounds Canada is made up of. I was born in Canada and that makes me Canadian. I deserve the same rights as my native friends do. I do not blame or hate all natives because of this hell, if it were me getting the extra benefits I wouldnt want to let them go either, I blame the people who started giving the special benefits that go against the Canadian idea of all cultures coming together and being equal. I just don't understand why all these cheifs are coming forward thinking they even deserve more extras than what they have because of things that happened years before anyone now was even born. I've seen many times things that would be illegal for just anyone but because it was a native american that commited the act they were let off. Explain how this is fair to the rest of Canadians. I've had many native friends do stupid, illegal things and tell me straight out that they dont care because their cheif will bail them out with the millions of tax payers money that they just keep around for these kind of problems instead of using it to fix their reserves and help their community better themselves. They have their own police, and enforce their own laws so how is it that they can be considered Canadian citizens? They live on their own lands, enforce their own rights, and police themselves, this sounds like reserves are alot like consulates in a foreign country to me. To those that same well your grandparents we'rent killed by the people who took this land, well all I can say to that is my grandparents were killed by Germans, but hell I wouldnt expect any special treatment if I moved to Germany, this is a new generation and should be treated as such. i have a digital piano but doesnt sound nearly as good as an upright piano and i need a piano for practising for when im doing my gold medal award (rcm).Im interested in the yamha u series and found a yamaha u2 and a u1 both from the same seller. the yamaha u2 was made in about 1973 and sounds great. It's not too short, but if you're worried about it, definitley wear tights or leggings underneath it so you're not self concious about it all day. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I got my BFP on Saturday. It's a really funny story. Sprained my ankle terribly, had to run to the ER. They wanted to do xrays, but took bloodwork to confirm I wasn't pregnant. The doctor came back in and said, "I have good news and bad news. You're going to have a baby. Bad news - I can't do an x ray!" LOL My hubby was there with me and it is still surreal. It's the best sprained ankle a girl could get! =) We've been trying for almost 3 years and the past two months, I've been using OPK. We even got pregnant while hubby started new job and was only living with us on the weekends! God is good and He is the creator of life! However, I was totally preoccupied with our move [the day before we found out we were preggo] that I wasn't feeling for every twinge or looking for every sign of implantation. hi, I have a 55 gallon fishtank that I have had for over a year now. And Yesteday I got a six gallon fishtank to put my baby guppies in! I cleaned the gravel, plants, ornaments, filter, tank with warm water really well, I than set up my filter, fluroesecnt light. I added some liquid drops that were for getting rid of the chloring in tap water, And It has been running for 24 hours. I was just wondering if there is anything else I can do, should I Take a plant or ornament from my 55 gallon tank into my 6 gallon tank to get good bacteria going? You better try practicing with the accompaniment as well since you want to make sure you are familiar with what the accompaniment sounds like, and if it is in the same key you are singing it in. And speaking of same key, you have problems staying on pitch, and part of that I believe comes form trying too hard to be hip and jazzy. Ella was hip and jazzy, but she also had incredibly perfect pitch and could smoothly going from one note to another, no matter the interval.

Opinions on terminating a pregnancy due to birth defect?

Hi. I'm 17 years old and pregnant with my first baby. First off I'd like to point out that even though I am only 17 I am far from a statistic. I graduated high school early and am taking night cles at my local community college as well as working a full eight-hour shift during the day. I'm not some irresponsible teen, I'm doing what I need to to make sure my baby had a god life despite being raised by a teen parent. I just wanted to get that out of the way before people started badgering me on something they don't know anything about. Now back to the topic at hand! My doctor ordered an amniocentesis (not sure why ... i didn't ask) and discovered that my baby has a chromosome defect called Trisomy 13. Infants with the illness are not expected to go home from the hospital. He told me I had an option to terminate the pregnancy. I don't know what to do, I love my baby so much already but I don't want to have her knowing she won't be with me for the rest of my life. I feel like I'm being selfish about the situation but it is really making me depressed =( what are your opinions on ending a pregnancy due to a situation like this? Thanks for your time!

So I have been engaged for a little over a year now. I am 21 years old. My Fiance is 25. We had dated a year and a half before getting engaged. Well after all that he started telling me how I was also perfect for him because i would allow him to be with other women and have other relationships, and have with other women, because i was open to the idea while we were dating ( fyi thats what i believe dating is about, i told him as long as he was upfront and honest immediately if he met or slept or did anything with another girl, and he knew that when/if he told me i would have to decide how i felt about it, whether i would stay with him or not..no hard feelings because again its dating,so basically i would not have considered it cheating at the time because that was our agreement) I was so caught off guard and caught up in the wonderful feelings that i felt when he said he wanted to marry me, that i just didnt say anything. I was shocked into silence, my heart sank, i felt sick. But he made it sound so convincing and so easy that i ended up accepting his proposal, after all I do looooove the man. However, I was left felling sick still about the rest. He wanted to be polyamorous. Not at all what I wanted,fine for dating, not for marriage or engagement. I expressed this to him and he made me feel guilty, and like i was being selfish for wanting him for myself, and like i was being judgemental, and closed minded. I will admit i was caught up in our love, and tried to accept things that i never should have given a second thought to. We continued discussing/arguing about this for days while we considered ourselves engaged already. The same night he propsed he BEGGED me to get a job so that he could show me off to all his army buddies, and so i would be more attractive and as he put it"HOT." Maybe. It would be hard knowing that they can be shipped away randomly for months at a time, and that they have to hide their ual orientation, and that there is always a risk of death. Why can't i lose weight?

I'm 21 years old, 5'1", and 118 pounds. I work out an hour every day doing hard cardio, strength training, and ab work. i eat really healthy, take vitamins and never eat fast food/refined sugar/saturated fats, but i'm not losing weight! i've been trying for the last 2 months and haven't lost a single pound. I have a fair amount of muscle and am pretty toned, but i haven't lost any weight, at least that i can tell. what's going on?
