How to completely rid my computer of Advanced virus remover?

Okay, so I have downloaded Malwarebytes' anti-malware and then Super anti-spyware and ran them both on the quick scan setting. The problem is that when I go to search something on google or yahoo, the virus redirects me to some other site. The pop-ups have gone away and I cant find any trace of the Advanced virus remover, but obviously something is still there. Unfortunately I am a little computer illiterate, so I cant figure out why when I want to go to a site like youtube or something I am redirected to some other random site.!. Whats the deal?? Someone PLEASE HELP!!
