Could my 4 month old baby have asthma?

I can't remember if he was born with a congested nose but as the days ped he had a congested nose and everytime he would breathe it sounded like he had flem, so I asked his doctor and she said that it's normal because his nasal pages are very small and that it would go away on its own. Everyone in my family thinks its not normal, he can breathe fine but it sounds like he has a lot of mucus in his nose, it was going away but now everytime he wakes up in the morning he wakes up congested and I have to suction his nose. Does anyone have this same problem? Will it go away? I'm praying it's not asthma. Me and my husband don't come from a family with a history of asthma.
