How can i find an outlet for my creativity?

I am a very creative person but have always had trouble finding a way to use this. My famly is filled with artists of all kinds,( my granpa was an art professor for the minnesota art institue, my uncles on both sides are all artists...). I have always felt that f i could find some form of creative work to work on, i could be great. But, i can't really draw or paint, and I dont play any instruments. I would lke to learn the ins and outs of a music editing software or some photoshop type program, but i have never had the means of learning what i need to know about them to progress my skills. any suggestons?
