My bf wants me back.. im confused?

i live in india and i have a bf since 3 years and we were going to be in a lifetime relationship cause we love each other a lot but he stays in a different city and recently one of his friends grandfather died..he was very close to him..and before dying he wished that his granddaughter and he shoud marry each other..his granddaughters family background is socially unacceptable so no one wil marry her and her grandpa wanted to end it this generation so he asked my bf to marry her, no one knows that he is my bf, im a good frnd of his sis but she doesnt know that im his gf and we were planning to tell soon and all this happened so he said he wants to give someone a life and fulfil the dead mans wish..he doesnt love tht gal and she doesnt love him but is ready to marry him..i broke up with him cause he broke my heart but he says he still loves me and even after he marries her he wants me to love him cause he says he cant live without my love and support but i am so heartbroken,,i am not happy with him, he said he wil leave home and leave evrything and he wil die..he says marriage is not everything..love is everything and first love never dies..he stopped eating and fainted one day in office, he is fasting for me..he wants me to love him lifelong, i know i do but i am not happy seeing him with another woman..he says so many couples in india marry even when they dont love each other.. thats true..ppl marry because parents force but...i dont know what i shud do? he tels me to marry the guy my parents choose for me and says that we shud not break up and continue the love..he says he has no other option than to marry that girl to give her a life..and he wants me too..he wants us to never stop loving each other..is he right?
