What are some good bands to listen to?

I'm now developing a new taste in music. I'm really sick of Maroon 5 and Soulja Boy and Fergie and all of the dumb songs that are so popular. My current favorites are Sam Phillips, Ash, Yo La Tengo, The Shins, Rancid, and a few other groups that I can't think of. Do you have any recommendations for good songs or groups to check out??
