Teaching at a "high-needs" school--?

"High needs" is a euphemism, not a qualification. It's code for an urban school or a school where most of the kids are poor and/or from non-Caucasian backgrounds. Test scores are low, dropout and pregnancy rates are high, and the school is likely on NCLB warning or in restructuring. You'll find them in big cities or very rural areas.
