I am doing a history fair project on Adolf Hitler and i need to know....?

It was called a swastika. It was the flag of the German empire. in the Sound of Music the youngest daughter of the general called the Swastika symbol "the spider". Every country they invaded and occupied they would put the swastika everywhere.
