What piano should i buy? Need advice please!?

i have a digital piano but doesnt sound nearly as good as an upright piano and i need a piano for practising for when im doing my gold medal award (rcm).Im interested in the yamha u series and found a yamaha u2 and a u1 both from the same seller. the yamaha u2 was made in about 1973 and sounds great. Neither have been refurbished and all parts are original. should this be a concern? the other yamaha (u1) is about 5 or 6 years younger and are both the same price because of the age difference. they both sound really good and are in very good condition. but im not sure which one to choose. which do you think i should go for and which do you think is better for practising on. Both pianos have a light touch but the u2 has a slightly lighter touch to it. thanks
