Are Americans bringing Christ back ino Christmas?

I didn't know Christmas had anything to do with Christ...I thought it was an excuse to continue to celebrate the Winder Solstice. I know Jesus never celebrated his birthday, and NOWHERE in the Bible does it say that December 25 was the grand day. :) I celebrate it anyways though! And I do agree, it has become way too comercialised.
